A New Hope

Postby Cain » Tue Mar 09, 2010 10:24 pm

Once upon a time there was two members named Bunzo and Cain who decided to make some podcasts for the members of Clanhalo.net. For awhile their episodes fueled great topics and had interesting points which had to do with such things as Scar's mom, your favorite teams in various sports and news about the site. Soon the project died down and they both went their separate ways saddening the community who loved their creative thinking. Leaving behind clues for someone bold enough to carry on what they had started.
Hopefully I can do half the job they did by picking up where they left off. I would love some ideas about the material that goes into the podcasts. So, I'm asking you, what would you like to hear in a podcast? Hopefully you can generate some great ideas and I will try to get this project back up in the upcoming weekend.

How about inviting the founders of the site as guests on the podcast to talk about how the site came to be.

How about making some game to be the first to contact you with the correct answer to a MW2/UrT/H3/HD Question? The winner gets invited to be on the next podcast!

Mention the winners of competitions, which competitions are coming up.

Have a book of the month, but always keep it "A Clean, Well-Lighted Place."

Don't forget to talk about how much of a ----- I really am. People always need a scapegoat for their own frustrations.

This sounds super cliche.

It's cliche to have a sig saying boom on a website about fps games.

If you mix that up with some depth interview of the person you talk to. I remember
the epic podcast with chrisKILLER. Yes, looking forward to hear some.

If the podcast is to be about anything remotely related to CD, there is no reason why it should be anything less than 2 hours and 47 minutes in length. It must also be accompanied by an in-depth study of the history of the CD Pep/Dance Squad including each of the 14 nine-hour practices. Oh, and before I forget, it must be narrated by a human with a monotonous voice speaking an average of 20 words per minute.
